About Char Wenc

Char Wenc M.Ed. has over 30 years experience as an educator and coach. She is an award winning speaker and author of two internationally recognized books, Parenting Are We Having Fun Yet? and Cooperation Through Laughter. Char's new book Stop the Door from Slamming -The Power of Respect will be released this year. Char combines practical strategies with a high energy 'You Can Do It' approach.

Char is a professor in the doctoral programs at the Adler School of Professional Psychology and Loyola University in Chicago. She has trained thousands of graduate students in child development, parenting skills and interpersonal communication. Char has a column in the RJT Magazine and is a guest speaker for the program 'Coaching My Kids'. In addition, her work as a clinical counselor and life coach gives her a practical application to all her work. Char has served as a classroom teacher, clinical counselor and a graduate school professor.

She is an consultant to the medical and business community, school districts and other educational associations in the United States.
